Chef Daphne has been at it again. She’s winning the competition. What competition do you say? The competition to convert me from carnivore to vegetarian. She’s made Vegan dinners that made me forget I didn’t have any chicken with my meal, and now she’s trying to make me forget that I love meat on my hamburger!
Chef Daphne isn’t the only one in this fight for our stomachs. Everywhere I go out to eat, there are Vegan and Vegetarian options. Who knew Burger King could make a burger that’s Impossibly good without meat? I think someone is trying to tell me something!
Chef Daphne even shared her ingredients so I can make this vegetarian burger at home. But let’s be honest, I’d rather pay her to do it. I don’t want to shop, chop and process. However, if you do want to do the work, I’ll tell you how Chef Daphne’s OMG Vegetarian Burgers are made.
- Cannellini Beans
- Pumpkin seeds
- Panko breadcrumbs
Chef Daphne puts the ingredients in a food processor and then makes patties. She browns the patties on both sides. She then toasts a brioche hamburger bun and puts Vegenaise (expensive vegan mayonnaise) on it. She finishes the burger with butter lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and fresh guacamole. Oh my goodness!
See what I mean? Why should I shop for Vegenaise, pumpkin seeds, and cannellini beans when Chef Daphne already has them in her pantry? So, if you’re trying to cut back on the meat like I am, call Chef Daphne and have her make you an OMG Vegetarian burger. You won’t miss the meat.
