A PLANT-BASED DIET IS MUCH BETTER FOR YOU!

More and more people are switching over to a plant-based diet.  Have you tried some of these?  You don’t know what you’re missing!  A meal can be tasty, yes, even without meat!
I prepared a chickpea salad wrap that was amazing!  It had chickpeas, celery, carrots, cashews, raisins, and apples, along with Mediterranean spices. I rolled it in a whole grain tortilla, but next time, I will try lettuce wraps. 

I am seriously considering transitioning to a plant-based diet myself.  Number one would be the taste! But foremost are the benefits!  It’s heart-healthy, may reduce your risk of certain types of cancer, may reduce your chance of developing diabetes; and, if you are like me, middle-aged+, it can slow or prevent cognitive decline.  We need all the help we can get!

So give a plant-based diet a try. You might like it!
